How Celcio Works

Celcio delivers faster, smarter, and more efficient temperature regulation.

Each session begins by placing your hand into the ergonomically engineered Celcio chamber. Inside, your palm rests directly on a specialized heating and cooling plate—designed to deliver highly controlled thermal input exactly where it’s most effective: the glabrous (hairless) skin of the palm.

Once your hand is in position, Celcio gently creates a low-level vacuum around the palm.

This vacuum is the key to unlocking the body’s natural heat-exchange superpower. Under normal conditions, the arteriovenous anastomoses (AVAs) —the palm’s specialized blood vessels—regulated tightly by the body, will constrict when exposed to heat or cold. This vasoconstriction protects the body but also prevents meaningful heat exchange, slowing both cooling and warming.

Celcio’s vacuum reverses this reflex.

By slightly reducing external pressure, the vacuum signals the AVAs to open. With these channels fully dilated, large volumes of blood can flow freely through the palm.
